The Bream Team

The Bream Team is a popup run by Rachel Karasik which focuses on creating menus and dishes that reflect the interesting spaces they are served in, and using food to encourage social interaction.

Set up in 2012 after a fortuitous purchase of a box of bream at Billingsgate Market, the Bream Team has run popups and private events across a variety of unusual spaces in London – from a classic British cafe and a construction site in the basement of Somerset House, to an old Citroen garage, a polytunnel, the clock tower at St Pancras and an artist’s 18th century home.

Unwind Residency

The Bream Team will be taking over the kitchen at Unwined in Tooting Market from 31 March-8 May! Each dish on the menu is specifically created to compliment the wines available by the glass. Unwined specialise in interesting, unusual, off the beaten track wines, and do so in a friendly and accessible way, and as that is much the same ethos that The Bream Team has towards cooking – we cannot wait to collaborate with them!

The kitchen hours are:

  • Thursday 12-4 (Set lunch only)
  • Friday 12-10
  • Saturday 12-10
  • Sunday 12-4 (includes the Bottomless Sunday Special)

You can also book into the Ultimate Unwined Supperclub on 21st April, 7:15pm. Tickets are £50 and include a taste of the entire menu with wine pairings!
